http://www.pandora.com/ is fantastic; well worth anyone's interest if they like music (other than classical and world, mind). It works by you giving a song or band you like, and it works out the sort of music you like from that, and so you can create up to 100 custom radio stations, refining the content by saying whether or not you like what it's playing. It's a far easier to use and streamlined interface than, say, yahoo music, and chooses the music better too. It's only available to inhabitants of the US but since it only checks this by asking for a ZIP code - well, I'm sure some untrustworthy individuals out there might possibly have thought of a way past this. Hmm, I wonder? I couldn't possibly put in a random code, could I? No, far to hard. It really is very good and I've found several bands that I love through it. The Crest ROCKS!
